Ok, well, I’ve been hanging out in Tulsa for a short minute here.  Fun times.  Nice people (a lot of them speak English, which is a plus).  Tasssty foods!

A little update since I won’t have time for anything else until internet is at a home in a location that I like to live at.

The GRE

I took the GRE.  I dun good on the GRE.  But I can still do better on the GRE.  Memorable moment?  Writing this little gem into the essay portion of the test that was wanting me to elaborate on why loyalty wasn’t always a good thing in this vicious world of ours.

“Whenever I think of loyalty, three things come to mind, retiring company employees, the mafia, and dogs.”

Yes, I wrote that *not exactly, but as well as i can remember* on a test to evaluate my ability to succeed in grad school.  I just kept thinking to myself, “if only I could see the grad student’s face who gets to grade this little piece of something-something!”  But anyways.

Here’s a little something I didn’t know about when going in to take the test.  When you show up, they have you write out in cursive the paragraph that says that you won’t be cheating or pretending to be someone else.  Therefore!  Don’t think you’ll be helping yourself out by downing an iced vanilla red-eye (two shots of espresso and regular coffee with vanilla syrup and cream) right before.  My hands were shaking so much I couldn’t even make out what I was writing, let alone anyone else.  The lady administering the test even asked if I was ok.  I was all, “yeah…good times! gehgehgeh”

I don’t usually drink coffee.  I blame my barista friend for pushing it in front of me after I joked about needing something like that.  And I blame me for having to be bad-ass enough to chug it down.

Geh.

But I am soo awesome, I will try again in a few months to make the coveted bad-ass score and then all the people will be all, “ooh, please come to our school and please take all our moneys!”.  Yes…
