NaNoWriMo
October 20, 2008 on 4:31 pm | In Everything | 3 CommentsI have also gone ahead and signed up for NaNoWriMo this year (as can be attested to by yet another sidebar addition).
National Novel Writing Month is in November, and fast approaching. While I’m uncertain that I’ll want to write anything (let alone the 50,000 words for the NaNoWriMo challenge) after dealing with the multiple history papers due next month, I will still try.
And if I fall behind, no one will notice if I slip a term paper or two in the word count!
Oohoohoohoohoohoo!

Maybe you can put together all the posts from your blog. Create a plot (surviving Japanese river monsters or something) and use blog posts/text messages to push the story. Like a literary version of Blair Witch Project or Cloverfield.
Good luck either way.

When I’ve come to the last week in November with naught but 1,000 words written, believe me…this will sound just as appealing as throwing my term papers on there.

And I’ll call it “Dreaming of Grad School”.
